Terms & Conditions (T&C's)
Component Protection (CP), Security & Diagnostic Terms
1. Proof of Purchase & Stolen Component Policy
All security enabled and used components requested for adaptation must have a valid receipt and proof of purchase from a reputable vendor.
Online Server Checks: Prior to adaptation, all Component Protection (CP) parts undergo a VCRN check via the central manufacturer server. If a part is linked to a VIN flagged as stolen or stolen-recovered, the server will block the adaptation (typically returning a FAZ2781E or FAZ4990E error). To protect our trade accounts and license, we strictly decline processing any parts without clear provenance.
2. Immo-Protected & High-Security Modules
Modules with integrated immobiliser security including Virtual Cockpits, Instrument Clusters, and BCM2 units etc —require an official authorisation application submitted directly to its brand headquarters in Germany.
Process: Upon initial vehicle connection, system data is read and submitted for factory review and approval. Once cleared, the component can be coded and adapted to the vehicle.
Fees: Due to system connection costs, server licensing, and administrative processing time, an upfront fee is required for high security module applications.
3. Billable Time, Faulty Parts & Service Charges
Our fees cover professional labor, server access connections, and technical expertise per diagnostic session.
Incomplete Jobs Due to Hardware Issues: Full service and server connection charges apply if programming cannot be completed due to defective, internally faulty, incorrect, blocked, or stolen components, or server error messages (FAZ/ERP/SVM).
No Refunds: Service fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome if customer-supplied hardware fails validation or internal testing. We accept no liability if part installation does not resolve an underlying issue.
4. Sourcing Consultation & Warranty
Sourcing Assistance: To avoid purchasing invalid or blocked components, we offer a part identification and verification service. An upfront deposit is required, which is 100% credited toward your final invoice if you proceed with the work.
Warranty Coverage:
New Parts & Programming: Covered by a 1-Year Warranty.
Used Parts: Covered by a 3-Month Warranty.
Research fee
Retrofits and custom modifications require extensive technical preparation—from checking hardware and software compatibility to sourcing exact components and calculating installation scope.
To ensure every custom build receives the dedicated time and detail it deserves, we require a non-refundable Research & Design Deposit for specialised queries. When you choose to move forward with your project, 100% of this deposit is applied directly toward your final invoice.
